Some of those are bad, some of them aren't.

Everything is so PC anymore. People need to laugh shit off at times.

Older people just led such a different life. I mean I'm 42 and playing GTA5 and Madden every night and have a nice phone etc.

Everything has gotten so much more advanced in my lifetime, it is hard to imagine what people in their 70's and 80's make of things.

I went to eat with my Grandpa one time and he was telling me this girl at the gas station was bragging about having 400 pictures on her phone. Just had to laugh because I use a 32 gig card in my LG.

Times were just different. And that isn't saying it's all right with all those. Shit has just changed so much.

It was a different country back then. Stephen Foster's "My Old Kentucky Home" was changed in 1969 (if memory serves) where the line " 'Tis Summer, the darkies are gay" to " 'Tis Summer, the old folks are gay"

heh, i watched an old Eastwood Flick on Netflix from the 70s a few weeks back called Eiger Sanction. This flick had open gay bashing and blatant sexual harassment. A black female named "Jemimah" and a dog named "Faaagggggggoooootttt". .

I go to a fitness board, and it is brutal on this topic. Almost every thread gets a racist angle thrown in and causes arguments and threats because of very light moderation.

And it happens on other boards a lot leading to bans.

Those ads aren't any worse than some people's attitudes right now.

The Pears Soap thing was pretty damn disgusting.

I voted for 20, because the black people in those ads are by far the most mongrelized and sub-human of the entire group. They're depicted with behavior stereotypes AND skulls that resemble apes far more than they resemble a human's. Slap some fat red lips on them and you're good to go.
