CCR. It's rich and tonal like a good cigar after a fine meal....you sit there and enjoy it as it washes over your being and soothes your ears. It's like an aural massage.
Plus, The Dude plays it in his car.

I had some Skynard tickets a few years back, I wish I had went, but, it was Fathers Day weekend and my sister never gets to do much with both her kids being small at the time, sooo I let her and her husband have my 2 tickets and I baby sit for her, and let them drive my 65 Mustang to the concert. she said it was so good she ALMOST felt guilty for taking the tickets, but I was happy she got to do something special with her husband on fathers day. See how nice I am.

The true test is who's in the Rock and Roll HOF and who isn't.
CCR was inducted in 1993, so they've been in the Hall of Fame for 12 years. Skynyrd has not yet been inducted. So I'd have to go with CCR for $400, Alex. |

I could tolerate either if I was with a group of people, but they are both really before my time. If I was alone I would just change the station...

Having seen both I would say they are both equally as good. Like others have said they are just different. To me it depends on the mood I am in.
