that hit was so soft Brodie Croyle would have jumped to his feet straight after. when they said it was a head injury did they mean it was all in his mind?

I admit I was happy. I'm not proud of it and I in no way want the guy to have any long term effects from it, but he is such a terrible QB. It NEVER should have gotten this far. He seems like a great guy and I'm sure he tries as hard as he can. He gave it his best and it didn't work out. It happens, but its over. Time for everyone to move on. We need a QB and he needs to go be a backup somewhere else.

Maybe, just maybe the fans were just happy that the shitbag would finally get yanked from the game. I doubt they were cheering the fact that he got hurt. That was just a means to an end.

yes. cassel is a good guy who trys his hardest whether you like his play on the field or not. Hope he can get back to 100% quickly so he can lead us to victory next week! go chiefs and go cassel!

Of course it's wrong. Never associate with anyone who would think it's okay.
But it's good to cheer for Brady Quinn. That can be a fine line to walk in terms of timing. |

And yet, Philly, NY, SF, OAK have no trouble getting players to come and sign. Hmmm.. Could it be that they actually try to win? Maybe? Or maybe we don't ask our FA's to try to win? Perhaps we just ask them to be "complimentary" and almost win, like Hermi-O. |

Get off your high horses you white knighting douche-nozzles. Your self-righteous condescension is laughable in the anonymous world of the internetz.

And make no mistake - the narrative this week will be on what a crappy bunch of fans there are at Arrowhead, when in reality they had finally had enough. Winston's been around for five games of this debacle, so maybe he's just unaware of the problem, but instead of focusing on moving on from the "Cassel Error" as another poster aptly put it, we're instead going to be hearing about what great losers the Chiefs are and how the fans are a bunch of backwater numbskulls incapable of differentiating between an overwhelming desire to never have to see Cassel take a snap for the Chiefs again and Cassel getting his brains scrambled.
I was elated when I saw that Quinn was in, and that was before I knew why he was in there (I refuse to support the quarterbacking trainwreck known as Matt Cassel any longer and no, that doesn't make me a bad fan, so I wasn't watching it live). But I also didn't really care why. I don't want dude to get his eggs scrambled, but as a fan of the team I do want them to put the best product out there that they can and Cassel is probably one of the worst QBs in the NFL today. |

Yes it was ****ing wrong. It was a perfect storm, it should've never gotten to this. The front office and coaching staff should've taken him out a game ago, maybe sooner.
Wishing injury on a player is bullshit honestly. Winston doesn't know shit though about what this fanbase has gone through...that said everyone wants Cassel out and it shouldn't have taken an injury to have that done, again. |

Why wouldn't we cheer the best thing he has done for this franchise?
I am confused.
