Ty Law and Plaxico Burress...

After signing Bell, I think Law and Buress should be our next 2 targets in FA. I want to hold on to our #1 and #2 picks, and I would love the chance to draft one of the Top LeftTackles's in the draft in either the 1st or 2nd rounds.

I think that Plaxico could be a monster on this team with this offense and with Saunders guiding his development. Al is one of the best WR coaches in the league. I'd love to see what he could do with Plaxico.

I can't read the future, but I have this feeling that whoever get's Ty Law will be getting the steal of the offseason.

Burress wigged out yesterday and cancelled his meeting with the NYG because "he wasn't feeling well."

NFL | Burress May Seek One-year Deal - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 9 Mar 2005 05:37:02 -0800

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports free agent WR Plaxico Burress (Steelers) may consider a one-year deal if he does not receive what he believes is a market-value proposal on a long-term deal. Under such a game plan, Burress would then hope to have a big 2005 season and re-enter the free agent market again in 2006.
My guess is with th Giants.

Plaxico is a stud no doubt but his pricetag scares me. Anyone have an idea of what he is asking for?

Isn't Law in a wheelchair? Thats the word...why would we want to take a chance like that? Or is it not considered a risk?

Yet our offense still kicked major ass last season, and the season before that, and the season before that...

...I dunno. I think everyone is hitting the panic button in the wrong spot. Let these guys develop. Personally, I think Parker is gonna be a good reciever, and Wilson will do MUCH more than be a tight end. Hell, before his injury they used him alot in pre-season and he looked great. As did Boe.

I just don't think this is a place we need to freak out about. Hell, if we had a goddam defense we wouldn't NEED to score every time we touch the frickin' ball...If we have money left and spend it on a prima donna like Burress, I will really be pissed...

I guess they are bringing him in to evaluate just that. Personally, I think he'd be fine for a season or two, which is about all the life we have in us for a run at the SB. He's in a wheelchair because he had surgury. This does not bother me at all...
