His success or failure will all depend on the strength of his staff and recruiting network...

Weis had amazing recruiting classes at Notre Dame and still failed miserably. I believe he had at least one or two classes that were ranked #1 overall.

His last two years he went 13-12 despite playing a total of only four ranked teams.

Yeah I guess anything can happen, but it seems unlikely he will be a success. Time will tell.
