Early this offseason the Chiefs said their were going to keep ten OL, so this is not really a suprise. You have to remember that Szott is giong away next year, and we only have Shields to a one year contract. We could very well be training a couple of them to step in for next season. OL has always been a very important spot within the Chiefs orginization.

9 DBs is thin? The only place we're thin is at WR, and if we pick up an additional one we could release an OLman (kind of doubtful, as morph says we were going to keep 10 all along, and Carl was afraid Waters [probably the least secure OLman on the roster] would get picked up on waivers had he been released)or a RB (Kimble?).

John,
I agree with you. The only thing that gives me pause is the size of Bennets contract. Isn't he supposed to make a cool $million this year? Luz i know that anders restructured... |

Luz,
No Idea on Bennets $$$, but even thou Anders redid his contract is no sure bet he'll be here. Also No matter the $$$ for Bennet, I think Gun will stick with him and TRich at FB, Because either can play HB if needed.<P> |

4 WR's, 3 TE's and a lineman to play TE? Nothing's is up, it just says that Elvis is a QB that MUST have a running attack to be efficient (didn't say great). We are going to see just a little more passing, but get ready for a bunch of running backs.

Gun seems serious about his youth movement...keeping Hall...talk of using him as a WR...IMO...if we have to release a RB..it will be Bennett or Anders...Anders can be a HB or FB...and he is a better receiver...Bennett is more on demensional...and the age thing is not that different...only question about Kimble has he or will he ever fully recover from his injury?
