My agent talked to them and worked out a contract with specific conditions in regards to my injuries and the league minimum payment. If you ask me, it was really weird.

I signed with Green Bay two days before their first preseason game of the season. The first day I got there they handed me a full playbook and wanted me to learn it before the game. Nobody tried to help me with the playbook, and they had a lot of injuries on the team at the time. I was basically filling in for those guys for the time being. I knew what was going on, and I knew my time in Green Bay was limited, so I wanted to give it my best and make the most of it. I had to make as much money as I could while they were giving it to me.

After we played the Arizona Cardinals in preseason, I got cut again. I wasn’t getting much playing time, so I saw it coming.
