Boldin gets slower every year. He had a good playoff run, but was pretty "meh" during the regular season. For $6M, no way. Guarantee the Ravens were probably going to release him if they didn't find a trade partner

Probably something similar to what the Rams/Redskins pulled last year. Let a team make an offer to set the price for the team you want to trade the player/pick to.

In a passing league, the Vikings don't have a QB or WR's worth a ****.

The 49ers needed another physical WR to match up with Seattle's physical CB's. 49ers vs Seattle games next year will be prime time gems IMO.

stupid how we can't pull off trades like this.
what is the chance that a 6th rd pick would do anything for this team next season? very slim to none. boldin however would be a much better option than 1 handed willie mays hays one handed baldwin.

He was considered done 4 months ago. Thank goodness Ray-Ray set him up with some of that deer antler spray/shit.

I guess the market is high on CP for a possession receiver with 64, 57, and 65 receptions over the last 3 years.

Dashon Goldson - DB - 49ers
CSN Bay Area says Anquan Boldin's acquisition makes it less likely free agent FS Dashon Goldson re-signs with the 49ers. Boldin brings a $6 million salary along with him to San Francisco, and that money could have been allocated to locking up Goldson long-term. Beat writer Matt Maiocco says the 49ers "expect to lose" Goldson in free agency, now. He's reportedly seeking $8 million annually, and there's a good chance he will find it. Get it done Dorsey |
