With Route they lose 31-10 next week. Without him they lose 35-7. It don't matter. What it shows is that the front office sucks. Where have I heard that before?

Might the Raiders make a run at veteran cornerback Stanford Routt now that he has been waived by the Chiefs? Don't rule it out.

I want to revisit all of the talk about Pioli inheriting a depleted roster when he assumed control...

What a bunch of ****ing horse shit. The team had outstanding ****ing talent at key positions.

Now? Pioli hasn't built a thing, and he's literally taken areas of strength and turned them into areas of need.

Yep, AWESOME Job! I honestly could have done a better job than Pioli at building this team.

The sad part is, there are probably several thousand posters on ChiefsPlanet that would be a better GM than the highest paid GM in the league.

The Cleveland Browns fans were right: We are the new Lions\Browns of the NFL.

We are going to be mired in this shit for decades.

**** me.

Yup.

By the time we start fixing the weaknesses on this team, the strengths will have aged to the point that they need to be replaced.

If a new GM came in and 3 consecutive drafts as good as the 2008 draft, we'd have a contender by about the 3rd of them.

That's not going to happen.

**** it - get the #1 overall pick and trade down. I don't even give a !@#$ at this point. This team is a disaster and it's just going to suck for the foreseeable future.

Christ. Crennel does one thing even marginally well and that's what he fired himself from. But hey, thank God the fat bastard has more time to dedicate to the offense now.

Unbelievable.

That's exactly correct. Roleo is experienced and reasonably successful at the one thing he will no longer be doing.

Step by incredible step, Pioli has destroyed this team. And the most horrific aspect of it all is that the worst is yet to come.

The only hope we have is that Clark will act ... but I don't think he's going to. Not any longer.

Ya know, I hated Herm's coaching style, but it was HE who inherited a VERY OLD depleted roster and rebuilt it with a bunch of fresh young talent.

I remember him saying that the franchise needed to take 2 steps back in order to move forward and a bunch of guys got moved/cut while he rebuilt through the draft. I respect that Herm saw what needed to happen and did what needed to be done even though it affected his future.

Now Pioli has come in and fucked all of that up. The past 4 years have been a giant waste of talent. I feel sorry for Hali, DJ, Charles, Flowers.

Yep, yep, yep. We could literally re-hire Herm and Koo-Hair-Ick this afternoon and be exponentially improved.

That's it for me.

I can't take any more.

It's just not worth the heartache to care about this franchise. I shall now turn my attention to championing cheese. Cheese is packed with protein, tastes great and goes with almost everything. Plus, you never see cheese making one bone-headed personnel decision after another.

Pioli has a real fail trail he is leaving.

This makes as much sense as the time he cut Jared Gaither in favor of Barry Richardson
