Something like that but all with only 3 - 4 minutes left.

More bad ballhandling costs a 5 seed a game. 12 seeds are now 2-0.

Jesus.

I might be glad that Kim Anderson killed all interest I had in college basketball this year.

I've watched 3 games today and this shit is nearly unwatchable. This 'exciting upset' in the Purdue game was essentially watching monkeys **** a football. The game ends after Little Rock bricks 2 free throws to put it away, Purdue gets the rebound, takes it down the court and the PG falls down trying to drive the lane. And compared to the collisions between teammates in the paint and airballs on uncontested 3s, that was actually well played.

This is what college basketball has become now? Gawd, I'm sticking with the NBA.

Eh, today hasn't been a great representation of the quality of today's game. The tourney will improve once there are less games for the better refs to call.

Did you happen to catch either of the KU-Oklahoma games this year? The game at AFH was one of the best basketball games I've ever seen.

I have literally watched zero minutes of college basketball.

Like I said, Kim Anderson murdered this sport for me. I've watched exclusively NBA this year.

I was just struck by how shitty the play in the showcase event has been. It's just been awful. These guys are bricking open 8 footers and when they hit some wild-ass prayer I'm supposed to act like it's some incredible feat of basketball prowess. Seriously, it took 38 minutes of dogshit to put a guy in the position to hit that prayer; I am not impressed.

The thing went to double OT with Little Rock not hitting a single FG in the first OT. Just staggeringly terrible.

I'll keep it on in the background to see if play improves, but that was almost certainly the worst basketball I've ever seen played and that includes my office 3 on 3 tournament last weekend (2nd place, bitches!)....

I can't wait for the best of seven series between the 1 and 8 seeds in the playoffs. Those are always exciting, well played, and never drag on.

Gotcha. One of the main problems today is that mediocre ref teams don't know how to adapt to the updated rules. However, the more experienced referees tend to let the players play. It's made the top-billed match-ups much smoother and much more enjoyable to watch.

College players are pretty terrible (relatively), yes. The difference is especially striking if you watch a lot of NBA.
