Don't get me wrong, I want to keep Jackson. He's good, just not elite. If he's not willing to take a reasonable pay cut, then cut him. Try signing him after he talks to a few teams and sees what his market is. If they are also offering him too much, then let him go. But I don't see that happening, and if he wants a starting job his best bet is coming back here IMO.

So if he goes to the market, I'd let him just come back to us because he'd lose several ties for me.

Nobody gave a shit about Piolis personality when we were winning in 2010 and nobody should give a shit about Dorseys as long as the team is winning.

Jackson's a meh guy. Every team has them, have to to fill some spots. Although if it came down to him or a guy like Sopoagoa from SF, yeah, sorry Tyson, we've decided to go another direction.

my personal favorite was watching the GM pass on pure talent with red flags and having a player on the roster he spent years and resources on to try to cover up with consoling and sweep it under the rug and it was the biggest player with red flag issues the NFL has seen probably ever.
hes promoting "character" to the public and behind close doors that was far from the truth he had the biggest group of trouble makers ive seen on the Chiefs in years |

Pioli=sleezy car salesman at a high end dealership.
Dorsey= guy sweatin balls in the shop making custop parts for our new red hotrod. Customer service means less when your putting the best car on the road. Give the guy time to acclimate to his position. And judge him by the talent on the field. And big Andy by the overall play.

you will get the same interview responses from Andy no matter the record, so get used to it. He has his interviewing down to a script and just rolls it out like a robot, will never reveal true feelings about a player or the success or failures of a season. he will always take the blame lol

With all the discussion about Ty_Jax here, consider this. We will most likely evolve into a 43 D during the next several years. So I bet Ty_Jax and his expensive contract are the least acceptable to Dorsey. More than just one incentive to let him walk.
