You're right, I didn't realize how long Teahen's been back. Not 3 months, but still. He batted .219 in april. In June he batted .305. Through July he's batted .312.

Not a bad two months.

Right now I have to be impressed with Roylas starting pitching. Redman and Hudson have really been hot and the rest are ptiching good enough to win ball games.

Another "quality start" for KC pitching.

One thing I couldn't remember when was the last time a Royal pitcher had pitched a complete game.

Yah before he went down to the minors I was. More for his defensive play however.

I will be the first to admit whatever they did to him in the minor's worked wonders and he has been a bad ass offensively since.

I don't know what happened to Sweeney but he had 1 AB for AA Wichita tonight and came out of the game. Actually he had an RBI double, scored, then was pinch hit for his next time up. We'll have to see what that was about.

Actually Wichita tore it up tonight though, winning 18-8, hit 6 homers. Alex Gordon went 4-5 with 2 doubles, a HR that supposedly hit the interstate outside the Arkansas Travelers' stadium, and 4 RBI.

Haha really, we should've tried to throw our AA lineup against the Rangers tonight, talk about sick.

A. Sanchez SS
A. Gordon 3B
M. Sweeney DH
D. Brown LF
B. Butler RF
M. Maier CF
D. Murphy 2B
K. Kaaihue 1B
A. Donachie C

And that doesn't even include Lubanski who pinch hit for Sweeney and ended up going 2-5 with a homer.
