Roll Call: Who's going to the Cards/Chiefs game?
I've been on a couple of Cardinals boards, and they've been whining about how many away fans have been showing up for the games......

Hopefully, we continue the trend.

Are you going? If so, where are you parking/tailgating and where are your seats?

We should all try to meet up before/during the game.....

I will be there.....I'm driving in from San Diego...have never been to a cardinals game before, so I have no idea about the area, etc...but looking forward to it (especially after yesterday's performance).

My Cousin and I will be there he is flying in from KC. Can't wait.

We are going with a bar (Sluggo's) that caters to KC fans. They have a bus and like 40 people going. Gonna tailgate KC style!!

What part of town is Sluggo's in, and what time are y'all going? Sounds like a good place to hang during the "early" games.....

Yup, it's all good. We just made a family decision not to travel to that game. The season is pretty taxing on us (especially me and my wife, since we travel 3 hours to every Home game), and we decided a weekend at home was needed. Otherwise we were going to be traveling every weekend in October, which is tough on an 19 month old kid.

I understand.....the Mrs. and I are in the same situation, minus the child. It's tough enough on us, can't imagine doing it 8 times with a litte one.

When I first thought of going, I never thought she'd go for it, but when I mentioned "Fairmont" and "Spa package", she gave in....

It's a pretty cool bar but it's in downtown Mesa which is probably an hour from the stadium. I know the bus from there is leaving for the game at 9 am that morning. So most of the Chiefs fans that normally are there will be on the bus.

Any idea what lot the bus is dropping you guys off in? Maybe I'll try to swing by the tailgate......

I'm already trying to figure out how early to arrive.....since we're flying in/out, we won't be able to tailgate, but I don't want to show up too late because I've heard that the parking situation there is horrible. And if we get there too early, with nothing to do, the wife will get antsy.....

As of right now, I'm thinking between 10:30-11 would be good. Gates open at 11:30, and I know the Mrs. is looking forward to taking a good look at the stadium...she was part of the management team working alongside HOK during the construction of the Edward Jones Dump (dome).....

If it's anything close to seeing chiefs games in San Diego....I'll assure you - you'll still hear "...and the home of the CHIEFS" before the start of the game!

Should be plenty of chiefs fans there....
