For the guitar enthusiasts on here, Andy McKee is coming through Kansas and playing at the Bottleneck tomorrow night. I've been looking forward to this for some time now.

If anyone else is going, I'll buy ya a beer.

Anyone who doesn't know him, he's pretty sick...

I'm going to try and go. His last experience in Lawrence was over at Fatso's and he blogged it as being a really bad experience. Hopefully he'll get a better reception there.

Really? I guess it doesn't really surprise me all that much. I wonder if he was just booked for background bar music. Tickets are about $12 for tomorrow night's show, you'd think he'd get a good reception considering that you're not going to be going to the Bottleneck and pay $12 unless you want to see him.

ya I've seen Andy McKee's stuff on youtube...he is SICK! Not surprising that he had a bad experience at Fratso's
