Mary Kay Cabot, of The Plains Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns C LeCharles Bentley (knee) asked for his release from the team Wednesday, June 11, and was granted his request, according to his agent Jonathan Feinsod.

He should be on waivers if he was released which means unless the Dolphins, Rams, Falcons, or Raiders put in a request for him we could get him at his current contract.

Correct me if I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time. Just the first time this decade.

He'll start here. His motivation for asking for the release was to find a place that will give him a better chance to start. No place in football is better for a center looking for a rehab gig than KC. He's a big guy, he's an earth mover type. He's exactly what we need at C.

Not bringing him in when we're eleventy billion under the cap would piss me off almost as much as drafting Kris Wilson did. It would be completely assinine to not even see if he has anything left.

Especially when considering his age, the state of our Offensive Line, and positions of need.

This is the chiefs, possible moves that make sense don't happen....now if bentley was a shitty center in the first place then we'd have him locked up
