Anyone with knowledge/expertise in messaging tech - Particularly 'Discus'

Don't really want to bother people who don't have interest/input, but I don't know another outlet to find out info on nagging, occasionally near keyboard busting, problems with message/blog/BB/commenting tech.

A lot of places use Discus for their comment section engine. On some sites, Discus refuses to load in Chrome. Other sites load in Chrome, but refuse to load in Edge. Some sites, Discus refuses to load at all.

But the really frustrating one is, some sites load only in Edge, but if you try to comment, it takes approximately 3 seconds PER CHARACTER to follow as you type your message. So, if I typed as much as I typed here, just above, it would take 5-7 minutes AFTER I typed for the dialog box to eventually fill with my message. And if you try to edit your text, it often simply reloads the page, erasing all your typing in the process.

Then, occasionally and usually with comment sections that have the feature that automatically extends the comment section as you scroll, whenever it goes to refresh the comment string, it will freeze my computer up entirely.

I do not have problems with the BB here, or interfacing with reddit or facebook.

I should mention that I have the Grammerly plug-in/app that monitors my grammar as I type, if that has any effect.

I know that Chrome and Edge are upgrading and changing in the background, in this particular moment, so if it's a temporary problem that will eventually be patched, I'm fine with just waiting. But if there might be a permanent problem, or if anyone is familiar with common complaints with engines such as Discus that have a workaround, I'm all ears.

I should add, though it may be unrelated. Last week I had a problem with twitter videos loading, whether as embeds or on Twitter itself.

This only started after Edge started sending any twitter embeds over to the stupid Twitter app instead of opening in the browser [and I was only in Edge because of Discus]. It was a problem for approximately a week and appears fine now. But it seems to indicate this mishegas I'm referencing about all these tech bits updating and morphing and not working well together with each other lately.
