Orient and Zinger were classics
It's too bad that Worlds could not keep those running

Yep... it really hauls ass out of the turns.
Top Thrill Dragster is fun... you're just hanging out and 2 seconds later you're 200 feet in the air wondering how the **** you got up there.

The wildcat at Fairyland Park KC was really a good wood coaster. I dont know if it was the best but it was my first as a lil nipper.

I love me some roller coasters. To date, all of the theme parks I've been to are:
Disney World's Magic Kingdom (Orlando, FL) Disney World's Epcot (Orlando, FL) Disney World's Animal Kingdom (Orlando, FL) Disney World's Hollywood Studios (Orlando, FL) Universal (Orlando, FL) Islands of Adventure (Orlando, FL) Busch Gardens (Tampa, FL) Busch Gardens (Williamsburg, VA) King's Island (Mason, OH) King's Dominion (Doswell, VA) Six Flags (Baltimore/D.C.) Off the top of my head, rides that stick out the most are The Incredible Hulk at Islands of Adventure, Sheikra at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Superman at Six Flags in Baltimore/D.C., Tower of Terror and Rockin Rolla Coaster at Hollywood Studios, and Apollo's Sun Chariot at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. As an aside, Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA is easily the cleanest, most beautiful theme park I've ever seen. All of the major roller coasters are awesome as well. I see GloucesterChief has been there before. The Alpengeist, Apollo's Sun Chariot, The Loch Ness, etc. I'd highly recommend a visit. |

I grew up around Williamsburg. Drachen Fire was their best coaster even after they "fixed it" but it doesn't exist anymore.
Big Bad Wolf doesn't exist anymore either. Drachen Fire: Loch Ness Monster: Last edited by GloucesterChief; 05-18-2015 at 11:03 PM.. |

I am still kinda partial to "The Beast" at Kings Island. Great wooden coaster.

I usually hate wooden roller coasters because they beat the shit out of you but that one was surprisingly smooth and a great ride.

Not be argumentative but as I recall the peak was either 390 or 410 feet.
