Sadly, every bad ass wears KC hats in my town. Which is suppose stand for Kern County. I've seen several KC tattoo's as well. This has been going for the past two year.

True story. I was in Bakersfield once and was wearing my Royals hat. I was approached by two dudes who asked me how long I'd been in the kitchen crips. Being a 37 year old white dude I literally laughed in their faces and had to explain to them that it was a legitimate sports hat. I haven't worn my royals hat in Bakersfield since.

Yep, that's my gangster hometown. It's pretty damn funny, not sure who you ran into, but the majority of them are Mexican Americans (I guess that's appropriate) and weigh around 160 haha. So frightening
