In terms of violating trust, which seems more likely? That the chiefs had no idea what was on a security tape that the hotel and police no doubt shared with the team and the NFL? Or was it worse to claim he was getting help and taking things seriously, only to get into a fight at a drunk party spot a few months later. The TMZ tape may have been the final straw and a convenient excuse for the chiefs. But the chiefs already suspended Kareem hunt indefinitely and that probably would've been enough. They vouched for tyreek for being serious about improving himself. So nah, I don't buy it. Kareem's lie was an excuse to get rid of a guy who had already violated their trust months ago

Nobody is overreacting. This is a very low hanging fruit situation. Simply don't appear in the news feed for a dumbass incident, Rashee. There are dozens of players on the roster.
