***OFFICIAL Chiefs vs Patriots Game Day Thread***

Episode 6 begins as the Gunslinger Of The Plains saddles up and travels to the Northeast in order to confront a die-nasty that has been offending mankind's sensibilities for far too long.

After decades of nefarious skullduggery, the Chiefs have seen enough and enter the den of the evil ones to put an end to their venal machinations.

And, when it's all said and done, the power of good prevails - defeating arrogant, duplicitous mendacity on national television as the Red & Gold leaves Foxborough victorious once more. Amen.

And now, a poetatum ...

There once was a team that we knew
Was hard to defeat or subdue
But today the Chiefs neuter
An old man's pea shooter
To turn a goat into a ewe

Go Chiefs.

(Sorry if re-post.)

If we have to lose our first game, it makes sense that it happens against the Pats in their house...I just honestly don't think that will happen. I don't know why either. Could be that we've played the majority of our games on the road in hostile environments against better defenses...we're used to this kind of pressure. The D looked amazing last week, but this ain't the Jags O...this is the always dangerous Patriots. To me, our D is the key. If they can get to looking 80percent as good as they did last week (a tall order given our injuries) then I don't see how the Pats will win.

I have butterflies, but it's not nervousness...it's anticipation. Pour it on em fellas...NO MERCY!!

This is sad. But mostly because a Steelers fan could literally say anything to trump a Chiefs fan in an argument outside of comparing 2017 and 2018 head-to-head win/loss records.

I said then how even more embarrassing for the Steelers get beat by the Chiefs if we suck so bad.

It just feels different now that we have a franchise QB. If we drop this one I'm not worried. On to next week to fight another day.

Man it feels good.
It's a life changing event for all of us. None of us have have ever had this feeling in all our years .It's wonderful. But I really want to be able to go to Patriots Planet tomorrow and say "Brady is the old GOAT. You just witnessed the new GOAT"

I think the Chiefs are a little banged up and Mahomes can't have that much ice in his veins... can he?
If you watched the Denver game and are still concerned about ice in his veins, I’m not sure what to say.

For the Patriots players that are listed questionable, is there a source to find out if they will likely be playing, or just basically waiting to see if they suit up
