after being on here for a week and reading all the comments i can see that you guys are thirsty for some dynamic O and that Geno represents a departure from a run of ho-hum offenses
fair enough, this reminds me of the Eagle's fans need to move on from AR so i get it, you NEED the change so, i'll back down, Geno is a guy that might be magic in a bottle and QB surely is THE position and worth a stretch so i'll go with it having said that, be forewarned as many of us nOObs (our spelling) have told you, Reid loves linemen, loves to trade down, keeps his cards VERY VERY close to his breast, and is confident of doing really good things with mediocre QBs i.e. it ain't a done deal |

He didn't start "loving linemen" until AFTER he got his QB. |

Heh, people always want the "better prospect that'll be there next year". Groundhog day all over again.

Cassel has been in the Erhardt-Perkins his whole ****ing career.
Chances are he'd crash and burn even ****ing worse in a West Coast system because it requires extreme timing and accuracy even on short routes. As we have seen many times, Cassel's short accuracy can even be dog shit. The pass might be completed but forget about YAC. He also sucks balls throwing on the run so good luck with that in the WCO.

I can't believe there are people out there that have watched Matt Cassel for the last 4 years and think he has even the smallest shred of NFL talent, or that a different coach/scheme/o-line will all of the sudden make him even as good as the worst starter in the NFL.

The fans would revolt again if Cassell was allowed to return as starter. No way this happens considering Clark just put out one fire with Pioli. Anyone who suggest that Cassell may return was not around this forum over the last few months. All the high ups including Reid know that Cassell is simply not an option due to the fallout.

Posting about Cassel should be a bannable offense. Let's move on from that abortion.

The more I read about our new coach, and seeing the QB's for the draft, I think he will wait until the second or third round to address drafting a QB. Geno should be gone by then as we'll as Wilson, if not they may be the pick. Most probably,it would be Ryan Nassib or Zac Dysert, in the third. Both look to be the type of QB Ried would like to build a team around. Of course, that would probably mean he has pulled off a trade for a starting QB for next year, such as Alex Smith,Kevin Kolb, or someone like that he thinks is serviceable for a year until the youngster is ready. Just my opinion,,,

I already hate our staff until I see what they do with the QB position.
After many years of giving this franchise and it's coaching staff the benefit of the doubt, I'm sick of doing that. This regime is going to have to show me it cares before I do. This year, I'm going into the season backwards. Much pessimism and hoping for the better instead of optimism and seeing the worse. |

I'd like to know what makes people think they won't take a QB first. Because of some interviews or talk radio guys? the Chiefs guys are giving lip service and the radio guys don't know shit. Both these guys are from teams that had their best success with 1st round QB's.
