There doesn't seem to be a lot of posting in the evenings and at night. I was curious as to whether people were just lurking or not on the board at all.

Considering that it was the day crew that skipped BB's, I was afraid that we would be slow at night. I end up just going over to arguing BB, which I think I'm going to find something else to do instead. What a waste.

I think a lot of our night crew lurks waiting for someone to do something, and we all end up waiting.

Really fellas, I wouldn't worry too much about this board being a bit slow. After all, it IS relatively new. It hasn't had nearly as much time to build up a base of regulars like the other board has. Remember, that one's been around for a LOOOONG time.

We get more and more people as time goes by. I'd say about 2 years and this one will be just as busy, if not busier, than the other one.

Wanna see a REALLY slow board? [url="http://www.chiefstalk.com"]www.chiefstalk.com[/url] was my first one, a few years ago when I started going to the boards. Boy, you get fewer than 10 posts PER DAY on that one. See? This one isn't so bad.

Well, its seems like the board's finally come back to life.

Azchief and Kphobia, thanks for the "welcomes". I guess I saw posts on a different BB talking about "the planet" a couple of months ago...I honestly can't recall where I first saw the web address, but at the time I made a mental note of it--it's easy enough to remember. Lately, I've been getting more and more annoyed at the Raider's #1 fan east of the Rockies, Denise. She's completely out of the closet. So, I came over here, and I'm looking for REGULAR status. If trolls can acheive it, I know you'd "rubber stamp" me right away if you knew my love of the Chiefs.

OK...fair enough, I'll reach 30 before too long. Another reason to give thanks for later this month (good health, nice family, KC in 1st place, etc.).

I feel certain that if we start out well on Sunday that we really can punish Oakland. If we don't start well, it's nice to finally have some firepower on offense. We need our Special Teams to get a "wash". Our offense SHOULD be good for 30 pts or more on their so-so defense, and our defense has the talent to hold the Raiders to FGs, with a MAX of 2 TD's. If we don't get burned repeatedly (more than 3X) by Gannon's scrambling, his day will be long and painful.
