Good luck, everybody! And remember, you're undefeated right now.
Slight correction:

Kickoff for Week 1 is currently planned for July 8th.

Also all settings in the game planning will go to default values, so if you have any schemes you're fond of you may want to write them down.

Anchorages announces a big trade with the Kansas City Fubar. Anchorage receivers DE Charles Johnson and KC's 5th round pick next year, while KC receives Anchorage's 1st round pick next year.

To make room for him, Anchorage cuts rookie DE Jonathan Massaquoi.

Anchorage now has DE Israel Idonije on the block. 7.5 sacks last year and was available for all 16 games. Good player.

Los Angeles Knights pro bowlers:

QB Eli Manning
WR Victor Cruz
TE Jermaine Gresham
DE Jason Pierre-Paul
DT Geno Atkiins
SS Donte Whitner

I think this is my stronger team, even though the number of pro bowlers are the same.

If Chiefsplanet could elect one person to be the Chiefs' GM, it might be Andchiefs. He built the Seattle team, and they're stacked everywhere. In addition to his 9 pro bowlers, he had Darrelle Revis, Reshad Jones, Flacco at QB, and Randall Cobb. Jeepers. How did this team go 7-9 last year?

My only three on St Louis. How did someone like Fitzgerald who had 798 yards and 4 touchdowns get the pro bowl over someone like Steve Smith who 1174 yards and 4 touchdowns?

It's interesting to see who isn't in the pro bowl. My various teams had guys like Randall Cobb, Percy Harvin, Charles Johnson, Lesean McCoy, Vernon Davis, Nick Mangold, Darren Sproles, Ben Roethlisberger, Desean Jackson, Hakeem Nicks, and Brian Orakpo, where I would have guessed that they were in the pro bowl, but they weren't. It shows how competitive that process really is.

OKAY, everything is set for you to build your lineups and to do your game planning for week 1, which will be simulated on July 8 if I am able to get everything ready by then. We will simulate a new week of games every 2 days or so. You can also see the league schedule for this season. We need to solidify rosters by then, so I am going to shut down new bids in FA and shorten the time clock to 24 hours later today. Once the season starts, there will be no trades and your roster will be frozen. If you haven't trimmed your roster to 53 players yet, now is the time to do it. You can see your week by week player availability in your roster page. I will describe how player availability for the playoffs was determined in a future post.

Time out for a bit, folks. There's a minor database problem that is affecting player availability. Sandbox Simulations has our finest minds working on the problem.

We'll let you know once we launch again.
