The climate change is all man's fault is still working well for him. What I don't get is why they call people like me climate change deniers. Hell, climate is not static; look at the Ice Age and the mini-Ice Age in the late 1500s that had it snowing in the Colonies in July. I just don't think the earth is so blasted fragile. Sure, we can mess things up and pollute, but destroy the ecosystems of the earth forever? Cam'aaan.

Take the profit out of it and you'll see they hype die down too...

As the icecaps melt, jet streams will be forced south. So yes.

Yawn!!!! To hear the LWNJs talk about it, they're all but GONE and the beaches are still where they were 30 years ago!

So, which is it, are they all but gone, or have just a few cubes dropped out of the ice tray?

My brother told me there are islands in the Pacific disappearing under the waves. How does one part of an ocean rise while not another? Shouldn't folks in San Diego be knee deep in sea water downtown by now then?

Wednesday night will be 1st severe weather event of the season. It will bring Significant severe weather to KC where Baseball size hail and tornadoes are possible with any storms that interact with the warm frontal boundry which is expected to be along I-70. Forcing is the only question and that is locational issue which wouldn't really matter that much.

Probably some F5s. I'll be out chasing.

Would also appreciate your input on future severe weather events. I'm a weather n00b, but I find it fascinating, and am always willing to learn.

It's such a basic principle though. Supported by retreating icecaps, highest average temp of 63 and and we saw the affects this winter.
