It's time to ban knives

http://m.nbcbayarea.com/nbcbayarea/p...tguid=Lj7eIYrA

At least 14 people were stabbed at the Houston-area CyFair campus of Lone Star College Tuesday morning, according to a report from KPRC-TV.

In a statement on their website, the school warned two armed people were on campus, one of whom had been taken into custody while the second remained at large.

I just don't get it. You could kill 25 kindergartners with a pin hammer if you were motivated enough. People are violent for no reason at all sometimes. It's the way it is.

I don't even own a knife, let alone enough knives to necessitate an entire rack.

knives are already kind of banned where I live. Unless it's less than 2.5 inches or you are using it for work.

16-45.1 Carrying of Weapons Prohibited.

No person, except as provided by law, shall carry on his person, or carry under his control in a vehicle, any knife having any type of blade in excess of two and one-half (2½ ) inches, ice picks, dirks or similar weapons that are likely to penetrate through police officer's ballistic vests, or other object or tool so redesigned, fashioned, prepared or treated that the same may be used to inflict bodily harm or injury to another, except:

a. When actually engaged in hunting or fishing or any employment, trade or lawful recreational or culinary activity which customarily involves the carrying or use of any type of knife, or

b. In going directly to and/or returning directly from such activities, or

c. If the knife is being transported directly to or from a place of purchase, sharpening, or repair, and if packaged in such a manner as not to allow easy access to the knife while it is being transported.

No person, except as provided by law, shall carry on his person, or carry under his control in a vehicle, a machete. For purposes of this section, "machete" means a heavy knife at least eighteen (18) inches in length and having a blade at least one and one-half (1.5) inches wide at its broadest measurement. This subsection shall not apply to carrying a machete on one's person or in a vehicle if the machete is carried for the purpose of cutting vegetation or if the machete is being transported for the purpose of cutting vegetation.

Sound logic like making incredibly stringent gun laws that only serve to punish those that obey the law?

Why is it that politicians insist on saying you can't use yours if it's over 2.5". Yet they have no problem using theirs on the local hookers 'cause it's less than 2.5"????

At least he used a knife. I always said that if some mother****er was going to go crazy and try and take my life, at least come at me like a man. These pussy kids that shoot up schools and malls use guns because if they used anything else like a knife, fists or any other weapon they'd get the **** beat out of them. I'm glad that this wasn't as bad as it could have been, but I really would be pissed for the remaining seconds of my life if I knew I was shot up by some douche with a gun. Guess it's a fear of mine to get blasted while I'm shopping for shoes, going to see a movie, or just attending school.

A lot of times those psychos are also planning on offing themselves after they kill as many people as they can. So a gun is more suitable for that. I don't get those people. If you wanna kill yourself, go for it. Why take out innocent people beforehand? Assholes.

I remember a report on USA Today that said the kid that shot up Newtown was just trying to rack up a high score. His "Video Game Mentality" drove an obsession into his brain that he had to be the best... Or he could've just been a sick mother****er that nobody reported soon enough, including his own mother.

Yeah lol, the government wants to spend a ton of money to research violent video games and how they might cause children to be violent in society. What they should really be researching is how many murders violent video games prevented. I know every time I'm ready to murder a college class I just play some Vice City and I feel fine again.

Where is this at? I carry this knife....

So many people have seen me use it and went of on a that's illegal kick. It is a great knife. It is faster than hell to use one handed. My brother was like that is faster than a switchblade. lmao
