AT&T internet info
Need a little help here guys.

Our new house we bought is apparently in the boonies because I can’t get internet hooked up. It’s 1 mile from the Springfield City limits but for whatever reason it’s been a pain.

However, I have found out that AT&T is in the vicinity as there’s fiber optic buried down at the end of my driveway and running under it. So i just have to get them to dig it up to the house.

So my question to CP is who do I get in touch with to do that? I can’t really find anything on AT&T.

Anyone help?

ATT laying fiber near you doesn't necessarily mean shit.

They have miles and miles of unused fiber. Run your address through a checker online and if no dice, call them.

You can call customer support, but be ready to insult a couple of T1 agents until you get to the right person to speak with.

You're better off to wait till they feel like hooking your house up, because even if they were to take your special request (gl) they would likely charge a 5 digit figure to do it.

When I had ATT, some tech would frequently work on the VRAD at the end of our subdivision and the dumbass sometimes would leave doors open and go home.

The sprinklers would flip on and soak the **** out of everything. I'd call the dumb shits to let them know and they would argue and say no way any of their techs would ever do that.

I knew their architecture better than they did. **** ATT.

You have to insult the agents for awhile to get what you want when you call ATT. I know most of my posts borderline parody so this may sound like a joke, but I am serious. You have to treat ATT like a stupid whore that won't leave before your family comes into town, and she would outright embarrass you if she doesn't go.

Fidelity is mostly clueless, but friendly and capable of listening. After dealing with ATT, I really value that aspect. They also give me more mbs than I pay for.
