Bowe is not getting traded before the deadline. And Pioli isn't going anywhere this season.

I won't go so far as to say "needs" to happen but I imagine Pioli knows Bowe isn't going to re-sign. Hell maybe Bowe has even told him "no way I'm re-signing to play any longer with your worthless ass." Would anyone blame him? So Pioli may be doing the only thing he has left to do... get something in return.

It's a moot point, because they're not gonna trade him anyway. And people are pissed because despite his flaws, he's the best WR we've had since... I dunno Stephon Paige? I'm not sure... I was pretty young when he played here. |

So Claythan things Cassel is good enough to go through all his progressions? Because any Chiefs fan should know that his first looks are short to McCluster, Bowe, or TE. I always thought Cassel stared down his go to guy on the play called most of the times, and didn't read through his progressions to see his best option to throw the ball too. But I could be wrong.

They can always franchise him again. And that's great money for one year. (again) But further damages the relationship, because Bowe (like all players) wants a long term deal. Not necessarily here.

one I'm okay with...the other I'm not. Both are at 99.9% probability. Me and my buddy Dave are going to the Raiders game with bags on our heads. I mean, we already have the tics and and parking passes (insert dorky weird crossmouthed smilie-thingie here)

You don't want Bowe and his negative energy on the team next year. Especially when you guys get your shiny new first round QB. Might as well get something for him and move on. Why would you want him there anyways if he doesn't want to be there?
Bowe can be replaced. WR's like Bowe come out every year. He is a good player, he's nothing special.
