No, it's your life and I am sure that may be able to help you.

What I was getting at was I just watched a kid walk away from the one of the greatest job opportunities he is ever going to get just to go back and get his masters in economics. His reasoning was his counselor told him it would provide more opportunity. I will tell you this much, I will not send my kid to college at all unless he is focused like a laser on exactly what he is going to do with that education. I would rather buy him a business and teach him to run it.

This isn't about an MBA, but it's business. Is anyone here certified in six sigma or know about it? The company I work for is going to pay for mine which is really cool.
The only thing I've heard is that it is pretty valuable to have in this economy.

Have an MBA. Worth every penny. Built a great network, got myself a much better job I wouldn't have gotten otherwise, and because I took my education seriously it really improved my critical thinking.

Like all grad schools, know what you're getting yourself into. Prep hard for entrance exams. The quality of the grad school you go to in certain fields makes an enormous difference. For an MBA, for example, do NOT go just for the degree. Make sure they have a good recruiting network.

Welp, I'm ruled out of an MBA because I don't have a business-related undergrad.

Really frustrating.. I applied for two jobs (copywriter for retail company and "proposal specialist" at an accounting firm) two weeks ago that I have yet to hear back from. Which means I'm not getting hired, even though these are the only two jobs I'm qualified for.
