Chad Pennington Highlights

If you missd the game, short video highlights here. Chad looked pretty good for a guy most Chiefs fans did not want.

Go Chiefs!

I have no problem with the Chiefs not getting Pennington because we couldn't guarantee him a starting job like the Dolphins essentially could - but the fact remains that he is the most underrated quarterback in football. A big arm is like sixth or seventh down the list of what you need to be a successful QB in the league. The guy knows exactly when and where to go with the ball, and his command of the huddle is second to none. He goes to the playoffs every year he's healthy. Like with Vinny Testaverde before him, Parcells has once again demonstrated that he can spot QB talent in a player derided by virtually all football fans and commentators.

I think that the older we've become, there's been too much emphasis placed on "winning". Sure, it's a blast when our teams win but at the end of they day, we have children to take care of, bills to pay and people to love.

For me, the best part is sharing the win or loss with my family. Not brooding over a loss or drinking myself silly because they win.

For me (much like this forum), it's a shared experience. And while I hope the Chiefs win, their losses or victories shouldn't affect my life or my family's.
in the early to mid 80's i went to lots of games with my dad and every time we had FUN win or loss it was freaking GREAT. i totally agree with you on this
