Now THIS is the guy we all thought we were getting when we drafted him #5 overall.

The guy plays EVERY POSITION on the field except down lineman. Lines up as OLB, ILB, SS, FS, NCB, and when Flowers and Smith were both out, we lined him up on the outside as a CB.

This guy is killing it in every phase of the game.

He didn't blitz in this game but he is getting to the QB when he's asked to.

He is shutting down tight ends.

He is always around the ball.

His ballskills are fantastic; anything he can hold on to, he does. His negated interception against Romo was outstanding. He's picked up a fumble or two so far this year just because he's there.

He's pumping up the team before the game, and with all the interviews this week on NFLN, he's become the face of this defense.

The best part is: he's not playing like Ed Reed. He's not playing like Troy Palomalu (sp). This is just Eric Berry blazing his own path, and he is absolutely torching it.

There is a lot to be excited about. We all knew he was a beast against the run but now he seems to be the complete package.

He's not even just doing things well- he's doing them at a ****ing incredible level.

Held Jason Witten to 12 yards on 12 catches and should have had a game-clinching INT? That is ****ing phenomenal. Witten is one of the most productive TEs of all time.

I don't know Philly's TEs stats but Berry had the INT TD return and should have had another. Minus the holding call in the red zone he completely locked down his man all game.
