It was a good article until I got to the end of it, and there were Google Adsense Ads for Denver Broncos Jerseys.

A pen name would be funny, but I don't think I want one. If you click my name it takes you to all the columns and articles I've written.

You really aren't objective in most of your Chief takes so it is hard to take a column seriously. Not intended to be a slam but just my honest opinion.

I guess other Chief fans would enjoy it though. I like the posters over here and at the Mane who take a step back and take the homer vision off.

Yes it is obviously a fine line between the two and it's not a very good way to gain popularity.

The Steelers game was one game. One horrid game, but still just one game.

So was the Niners game.

No one knows exactly how good the Chiefs are because they've only played 5 games. Frank Gore is still a legit MVP player at this point. Huard has only thrown one pick.

You never know how good a team is until it's played a playoff game or failed to make one...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I think it still boils down to home vs. away for SOME reason.

1 ass-raping, 1 tight win and 1 shouda/coulda won in a tough loss.

I'm willing to give them a pass on the Bengals game but I'm only reasonably impressed by the 9ers win - not over the moon. We did what we should've done in good fashion.

It's not good enough, but if we can take care of Seattle and/or San Diego at home, it'll be the same old Chiefs.

Or is it really as bad as the one that showed up in Pittsburgh?
Why yes; yes it is. Pittsburgh exposed us for what we really are...a team with no offense and a defense that should have bought a ticket. IMO

The “real” Kansas City Chiefs fell down in Pittsburgh.
No they didn't even bother to make the trip out there.

And THAT was ****ing Pittsburgh! How is SD going to slice us on Sunday? It may be ugly. Here's to hoping that Herm has a better game plan. I'm stocking up on Maker's Mark just in case it turns into another fiasco.

GC's point is clearly illustrated in this very thread. The last 2 posters are the D&G's. It is very possible that this team bounces back and plays well against the Chargers. If they manage to win these next 2 games, it will be a whole new season.

He's also correct in the fact that the Chiefs looked pretty good on the road against Denver. They looked good in coming back to beat AZ. And they looked great in shutting out the 9ers. But they also looked like crap in Pitt. I still don't know exactly what to think of this team.

I said the same thing GC mentioned about the way they played in the Pittsburgh game. I thought they would at least be competitive. That was based on the games I've witnessed so far this year.
