That's funny Joe. Everybody seemed to rally around Freeman and dis Tait when that went down but Tait was having Eddie for lunch and that's why the whole thing happened.

I was reviewing our rushing stats before last weeks game and if Blaylock didn't have to miss any time he had an outside chance for a 1000 yards rushing. Missing the 2nd half last week threw a kink into that though. Blaylock and LJ are obviously better then Mike Cloud.

he's just saving himself for a season when we have a good defense (whenever that might be)...

maybe next year...

The only good thing about his injury was it happened in preseason...so he's had all season to start recovering...

Good. There's absolutely no reason to risk anything with our season already in the crapper like it is right now. Let him get healthy for 2005. Let LJ and Blaylock kick the shit out of the Donks in his stead.

Having Bo would have completely changed our season.

Not really, no. The Chiefs passing offense hasn't really suffered.

Still a potential big play 3rd WR wouldnt have hurt at all. However its hard to go the "it could have been" route with a guy that hasnt really done all that much in the league yet.

Boerigter probably would have helped early in the season, but it wouldn't have been enough to overcome bad defense.

Even with the bad D the games have all been close. A big play here and there could have easily changed the outcome of a few games. Though its far from certain if he would have been able to contribute much.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I think it sure would've helped the first 3 weeks when Kennison got hurt, we basically had Morton seeing his first action of any kind still banged up, and having to put Richard Smith and Dante Hall out there as our two best healthy WR's. It really would've helped against Denver because they just shut down Gonzalez and we had no second option to go to.... having both Bo and Wilson could've at least given the defense a couple more options to have to cover.

Indeed. A different start could have changed the course of our entire season.
