If reports about his toe injury needing surgery and requiring 5 months rehabilitation are true, then there is potential he isn't drafted round 1. Otherwise, top 10 talent easily.

It's turf toe. That's a tremendous value pick. Consider what the Chiefs did last year with Dee Ford. They took a fringe first rounder at 23 and basically red-shirted him. If you take that kind of approach with one rookie, it's damn near insanity not to do it with another who is a significantly superior prospect.

If he hits he's a first ballot HOF'er. If he doesn't conquer his personal demons or can't/won't work he'll be a journeyman redzone target, because he's basically unguardable when high pointing the ball.

I have a much more extensive post about him somewhere on here, but the search is ****ed.

Well, wow.

I didn't expect to hear that. I'd like to read your longer writeup.

IMO we have the perfect staff and lockeroom for a guy like him.

I think he would be a near perfect prospect for a lot of the types of plays that are the bread and butter of Andy's offense.

I read somewhere that (at the draft, at least) they use the school where the player last PLAYED. Which would be Mizzou, of course. Who knows though.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Kendricks is generally regarded as the top ILB, but he's only 230-235.

Who would that be? Do you want to draft a 2-down Belcher or an undersized asshole?

I hate the idea of drafting McKinney in this defense. He would suck eggs.
