New KC Salaries

I figured it was too early to find Lenny Wall’s salary on NFLPA but thought I would look anyway. I would think that Lenny and Ron Edwards might have a similar type contracts. A $600,000 base and a bunch of performance incentives. Both have potential, but their past injuries should prevent a team from paying too much. The reported $1.75 million hopefully is including incentives.

Found these recent salaries for the Chiefs.
DT Ron Edwards 2006 600,000.00
LS Kendal Gammon 2006 $810,000. I think this is the minimum 1 year for a veteran, so the cap is much less.
RB Quentin Griffin 2006 $425,000
DE Carlos Hall 2006 $585,000
LS Adam Johnson 2006 $275,000, 2007 $360,000
QB Casey Printers $275,000. Did not have any other years listed.
OL Will Shields 2006 $810,000, 2007 $1,200,000, 2008 $1,590,000, 2009 $1,980,000

Shields has some bonus money build in, but these other contracts look like minimum deals.

Quentin Griffin's looks excessive. Shouldn't midgets get midget salaries?

You don't want to sell him short.

One of them will be cut.

The question will be, can Adam Johnson be as consistent as Gammon?

Gammon has been a rock at that position; I gotta root for the fellow Gorilla!
