That being said, it's going to be next to impossible for the Thunder to stop the Spurs offense with Ibaka being out. Parker, Mills, and Manu are going to go right at Adams, Perkins, and Collison early to get them in foul trouble and discourage them from clogging the lane.

It's going to be a battle of how can get occasional stops while keeping their offense moving. With Ibaka out, that type of series favors the Spurs heavily.

Foul management will be key. I think Ibaka is a bit overrated on the defensive end. He's a great help defender, but has a very low basketball IQ. The mid range jump shot and the blocked shots will be missed. However, hes never been a cobsistamt performer. If he was he'd be an all star.The Thunder have some players that will have to step up and Brooks will have to adust. Very big ifs. It's hard to know the impact since Ibaka has never missed an extended time period. It will be interesting.

This would have been a tough series with our without him. To be honest I think it would effect the Thunder more in the finals than it will in this series.

ESPN put up a stat. The Thunder are +18.1 per 100 possessions when KD and Collison are on the Floor. I would start Collison and start Reggie in place of Thabo. Another lineup I would like to a lot is Russ, Reggie, Thabo, KD and Adams.

Thunder have been better for years with Collison playing. Generally means they have an actual NBA level basketball player on the floor instead of Perkins.

Collison's high basketball IQ evidently includes clanging 3s off of the side of the backboard.

Edit: He's also allowing Duncan to score at will.

I didn't think he'd shoot a 3 from the side (and not come close). It's like in the Clippers series where he looked like he was trying to lose the game (stepping out of bounds with the ball, taking bad shots, not playing defense, etc.).
