49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

The reason most people dont see eye to eye on Alex is because most people do not have the same definition of what playing well is.

For me, I would never call someone who completes less than 50% his passes, for a less than 7YPA and one TD is playing well.

I, personally, DONT think Alex played well in that game. Nick Foles is the one who played well. He completed 73% of his passes, with a 10.1 YPA and 2 TDs. To me, THAT is playing well.

I can see it. I can really see it, no BS. I just hope he becomes a complete QB.. and it sounds as if he wants this. It's not hard to find a recent QB that fizzled out as a warning sign of what not to do.

He can see both warning signs way ahead of the green light. Don't turtle up and become a game manager. Don't become a lazy diva, and rely only on your physical abilities (in this case, his arm.. cuz he isn't that fast anyway).

Luckily for him, he should be starting out with a top 10 pass pro OL, great weapons to throw to, and hopefully a rejuvenated RB effort.

Not true at all, and yet again, you are twisting yourself up in a futile effort to create hypocrisy. I have acknowledged that everything is in place.. except the run game being rather poor via OL blocking.

It was clear enough, for the most part, that the OL pass pro and weapons are good. I wish they would drop less passes.. (top 5 in drops).. but they are a good group.

See, you go out of your way to create division, which is not that bad for most posters, but mods should try to be less devisive. Especially when they are talking out of their ass due to some bitter grudge.
