Please throw up a prayer for my pops
Just got word that he got taken to the hospital an hour ago for chest pains...he is 75 and has Polio (no jokes, please) and his health has been deteriorating over the last year and I fear the worst is coming...

I havent been close with my dad, either...our conversations usually end with yelling or something and the guy is tough as nails and never surrenders. (haha wonder where I get that from)

Despite having Polio, he has worked for NASA and numerous contractors for NASA over his life and retired before he hit 50 and has never had to worry for a second about money. He helped design some of the parts of the STS1 and has lots of awards on his walls from back in the days.

I can say this about him, he has always been a good compass for me, even if most of the time I didn't like the advise...I tried my best to apply it.

I am going out there on the 29th and I really hope he pulls through this...
