Like anyone here cares what MU fans think.

Look how many people showed up at their "bowl game" this year.

I wouldn't worry if they don't like our QBs.

College football isn't a real sport, and your Quarterback isn't a real person.

If, however, you meant Jordan Darling, he is an actual person. He is not, however, a big-time recruit.

So why are you asking?

KU has made a charge at picking up many talented QBs in the last few months. This all based simply on the coaching staff and with no results.

What's your point? That KU hasn't landed any 5 star athletes? Wow, congrats, you're right.

No. I'm asking who the last big time recruit from Kansas who went to Kansas was. I honestly don't know.

More than that handful of Beakers that showed up at Arrowhead in Kansas City, MISSOURI.

Kevin Young? 3 star recruit, rated #5 in the state. That's my best guess.

He hasn't done shit at the college level, but that's probably the highest rated in-state recruit we've had in the past few years

There aren't many that come from Kansas.

If you are talking about star ranking then I would have to look at the last time it was KU got one that was in the "big time" range.

It's not something that KU usually worries about.

Aqib Talib and Anthony Collins were both 2 stars if I'm correct and were First Team All American at KU. Bryce Brown was all world 5 star and was a disaster at Tennessee.

Maybe someone else can answer your question but most of us fans just like to win regardless of the rankings.

Wasn't there some stud RB from Wichita a few years back? I don't remember what happened to him, but he was one of the top players in the country IIRC.

That was Bryce Brown I believe. Went to Tennessee, bombed out, transferred to KState.

John Randle was another Wichita RB who was ranked #3 in the state who went to KU. But he had a handful of legal problems and was kicked off the team. I believe things ended for him when he disobeyed a police officer and pissed on the Granada's front door down on Mass Street one evening.

I didn't realize that was Brown. Probably should have put two and two together.
