I'm mostly just talking about how they aren't a good representative of the league, especially when they're at home. They're a defensive, boring team the vast majority of the time, and while that can lead to success on the pitch sometimes, it's not really doing much for them off it.

What the **** is MLS? I thought it was a debilitating disease or something.

They're commenting on what an inferior game it was on HDNet coverage of the Chicago/Columbus game.

Huh. Wish I had HDNet. That's the one game this week I don't have access to.
On the bright side, the Quakes-RSL game is using the SJ feed on Direct Kick, so I get to hear Ray Hudson and watch Chingy, DeRo, O'Rourke, and crew smack around the NKOTB.

AAAAARGH. Fifth minute, great long ball forward to Cerritos, beats Countess but it's off the post, then DeRo follows it up and Countess makes a superb stop.
Really nice looking crowd in SLC, though.

The Quakes were world class in the first half. Absolutely world class, beyond a shadow of a doubt. The skill that's been displayed on the attack is really just indescribable.
HOW THE **** ARE THEY DOWN 2-1?! With a little central defense, the Quakes would be up there with FCD and the Revs as the top teams in the league.

I love soccer, but cannot watch the MLS, it was fun at first... back in the 90's (first season-MLS).
Leagues I cannot watch: MLS Mexico France Any Central American Country (Guatemala, San Salvador, etc) Leagues I enjoy: Argentina - all divisions - I used to play in the lower ones as a kid England - Premier Italy- Serie A Spain - Primera Brazil That is why I have every Fox Sports channel. Growing up in a third world country (Argentina) made me a fanatic of Soccer... (Its not a 3rd world country but that is another debate...) Soccer in KC sucks, but I do support the Wiz every now and then... (more than the Royals)...

RSL packed the back for most of the second half, but justice was halfway served. Several more great Countess stops and bad luck for San Jose, but Mullan sent in a gorgeous ball from the right and Moreno tagged it home convincingly for a 2-2 finish. Still deserved to take full points from it, though. Hah. Watching the Metros-Rapids replay on MSG, and it's ****ing snowing at Invesco.
