OK apologies to all the good Bronco fans but I just had to do that! Lose at home to the PATS!! Is it deja vu all over again? That's got to hurt. I wonder what insurrection is going on on their boards!
PS Frazod I agree with you! |

I found this interesting, it was in Tuesday's Wichita Eagle Online
Coach: Mile High field a 'complete joke' Associated Press Calling the condition of the field at Mile High Stadium a "complete joke" and worse than a high school field, Denver Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said he will meet with city officials to seek a remedy. "That was the worst field I've ever seen since I've been in the NFL," Shanahan said Monday. Shanahan has spoken with the city and will meet today with those responsible for maintaining the natural-grass surface. Asked if the city has plans to resod the field as they do several times each season, Shanahan said, "God only knows." A Broncos spokesman said the field already was resodded only about a month ago. Asked if there was any excuse for the field being in such a rundown condition with several bare patches, Shanahan said, "No, no excuse. In fact, it was a complete joke, not only to our team but to New England as well. That wasn't even a high school field. "It was one of the worst we've seen, and New England couldn't believe it." <BR> |

I'm pretty upset at the fact that they're letting the field fall apart.
Can't wait for the new stadium ... you guys have been blessed to have a good stadium. I heard that it cost something like $58M back in the 70s to build that complex. Sweet deal, they did it right. |
