****ing Open Tray Error on my 360 Slim. I've had two RRoD on me, which sucked, but at least the repair was free on those. I'm out of warranty and MS won't extend the warranty on this issue, which is apparently pretty prevalent. Guess I'll try to fix it myself before giving them another $100+.

If you can't fix it & before you send it in, check to see if there is a local place that can fix that. I'm sure you'll find some place that can do it cheaper & you won't lose the console for 2 weeks.

Check craigslist man - there a tons of people local (here) that repair 360s and PS3s for cheap.

anyone having problems connecting to xbox live with the new update? i already hate this shit. keeps telling me to port foward in which i did and still nothing. I guess other complaints are out for this bs.

I got it eventually... It kept signing me out, so I would test connection...Then I downloaded the update but I can't stay on Live right now. The new dashboard is pretty sweet

not sure, was supposed to happen tonight, but i guess they said f it and did it early. Im sure they knew they were goign to have problems with people connecting to xbox live.

this new update will take getting used to. I liked the layout of the last one though. But I almost flipped my shit when I couldn't find netflix at first, I was about to FLIP

I've had it for about a month now. You'll get used to it. It really shines with Kinect, though.

I've had the new XBL for awhile now, but I'm just now getting around to trying to install a game to my HD. Anyone know how to do that? Used to be just press why while the game was highlighted on XBL dashboard. Now all that does is eject the game.
