We don't have playmakers. We have some players, that if you put next to playmakers, would probably be very decent players. But we haven't had playmakers since Reesing and Talib.

Think about it guys.. the talent level was already rail thin on this team before Weis came in... he cleaned house. Lost our starting QB, best RB, safety, etc etc.. and those 3 were some of the highest rated recruits in Radio's tenure.

It's not going to get better overnight. He has to establish a new culture and build around it. That's not happening overnight (as was said before). Better days are ahead.

I don't understand why people didn't seem more worried after the first game. SDSU threw for more yards than Kansas and had over 200 yards rushing. All of the talk radio guys kept saying how much more prepared the team looked.

I'll admit that I didn't see the first game, but when the opposing team's running back gets 183 yards on 23 carries, that's a problem.

I think everyone knew the defense was going to be horrible... we just expected more from the offense (at least I did).

Because 99 yards of that total was made on one fluke play.

KU didn't allow a 100 yard rusher on Saturday.

The defense is far from great but they are improved over last year especially in the turnover department...so far.

Getting back to where KU wants to be will take some time. Changes for the good are already showing in my opinion.
