Ever tried miracle berries?
I was reading about them on reddit, and they sound awesome. Supposedly, they (I fruit form or in a capsule that you dissolve on your tongue) contain a chemical that bonds to your taste buds and make sour and bitter foods taste incredibly sweet. They also work with booze from what I hear, so I may have to finally give alcohol a try.
I just bought a bunch of them http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/ab3f/ to try for the hell of it. Anyone ever tried them? I've heard some people say they are amazing and others say they do nothing for them. I'm more excited than I should be. |

I tried some this past semester in an evolutionary psychology class as part of an experiment. They did a little for me, but there were other people in the class who were slamming vinegar down and swore it tasted like koolaid.

I've tried them before. They make lemons taste absolutely delicious. You have to limit yourself because you can end up eating too much citric acid and rape your mouth and stomach with it... or something.
Apples tasted too sweet to enjoy. Onions tasted pretty good. I don't remember what else we tried, but it was a really cool experience.
