Kelce has never participated in these. These workouts are for guys who don't know what they're doing or need help developing chemistry and timing.

He will probably participate instead in what he always does. Tight end university.

Kelce mentioned on one of his pods that he’s been down to work with Pat and Bobby in the offseason before. Kelces “down” season has as much to do with the guys who were at this last year as anything. His supporting cast sucked.

Come on man, he's never spent time at these things in the off season. He goes to all the voluntary workouts with the Chiefs. I think he was there for a couple of days last year when Swift was just a thought in his loins.

He's the greatest of all time at his position, and has a long-established mind-meld with Mahomes that needs no improvement. If anything, it's probably better that he NOT be there so Mahomes can focus on working with the other guys. Any reps to Kelce take away reps from them.

Plus, I think for Kelce personally the mental break from football is good. He was very emotionally jacked up towards the end of the season, and all through the playoffs. As long as he's keeping his workout routine he can show up whenever he's ready.

The less wear and tear on his body the better.. At this point in his career I think he’s on the same page as Patrick with the route running.. Plus most of his routes aren’t exactly in the playbook..
