49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

That's true. We should also ignore Cassels season with Crennel and last year without Weis. Cause anyone is going to look like shit with Crennel as coach and with Todd Haley as HC/OC.

Seriously, why is Smith the only QB in the league where we can omit seasons? You can do that with damn near player in the league.

Can't really argue with that. I don't see how that's viewed as such a negative. It's nothing to go crazy about but he wins you games. I would add in the ability to put the team on your back when needed. His 6 comebacks last year, and his performance against New Orleans is something he's been doing his whole career. When the game is on the line the light kicks on.

It's gonna be funny watching the Alex Smith trade defenders when the Chiefs don't have a swap of seconds, don't make a move to get into the second round, and end up taking someone like Zac Dysert as their "developmental" guy in this draft, and give Alex Smith a contract extension.

Alex Smith has progressed in every single way, every single season since his rookie year. Every year. Can you say that about anybody else really? These guys have gotten worse why Alex in every faucet has gotten better. It's a trend that has yet to be broken.
