--Explain what was so God Damned special about the best chicken wings you've ever had

Hi Guys,

Explain to me what was so damned special about the best buffalo wings you've/you'd ever had/tried.

-Where was it?

-Do you prefer a smaller wing or big fat wings?

-Any good blue cheeses or ranch dressings?

-Do you order regular or tell them 'extra crispy?'

-Flat or drum?

-I'd like some details.

-Drop links and pics...

-Do you like wet-naps, cloth or standard dinner napkins?

-Any beverage you prefer with wings?

-How many can you eat?

....What about the sauce ATOP the wings?

EDIT: Oh - it's out by the National and the old VFW; there was a mexican joint out there that was acceptably average for years; Rancho Grande. It's funny, but I never even really think of that area being Parkville. To me, Parkville's the river bottoms and the rest is just...I dunno, unincorporated kinda Kansas City.
Remember when Mirror Lake CC and later Winbrook CC was where the National is now? I grew up on Mirror Lakes Golf Course even got to play with Bill Grigsby and his daughter once. We were walking and they were on a cart we asked if they wanted to play through and he said we will tag along if its ok with you. What a treat his daughter was hot and she was wearing a tiny little golf dress. Talk about eye candy. Bill wanted to bet on everything we were just teens so he just did quarter bets and cleaned us both out lol. ok highjacked enough back to wings.

Are they more of a mild or medium?

I suppose I would put them in the medium range compared to some of the mild ones I've had at like a Wingstop/Hooters type place. I'd say they're right where a buffalo wing should be which likely why they don't offer anything else. They're definitely not going to light you up, buy you'll know you ate a buffalo wing. If that makes sense.

Is it really necessary to use the Lords name in vein?

Especially for a chicken wing.....

I am a thigh man. the tasty meat is found between them. Keep paying stupid prices for wings and I will enjoy my inexpensive thighs even more

The best eat out wings I ever had in KC were Tanners's "fried then grilled" when they first came out, last time I tried em the kinda sucked.

Smoked then flash fried with habanero sour cream are my favs but only I do those right and only when the SO asks for them for her GFs.

The last thing I want to eat out is wings but the bar before the Peanut at 76th and Metcalf were great (I mean ****ing great) but maybe it was because of the "full tilt" Irish Car Bombs.

Sad when a life revolves around cannabis.

Now its time to pour me another bourbon.

Easily the best part of the chicken is the thigh. I love drum and thigh night on the weber. Kids always want the drumsticks me and mama feast on the thighs.

I never got a good wing at Tanners when they were at 169 and Englewood Rd but Taco Tuesday was awesome if you like the Tex Mex.

I was at Tequila Harry's (CB and Quivira) when the owners came in for a drink after signing the loan for Tanner's #2. They were joking about it but inside they were white as ghosts.

Done well over the years, too bad they didn't sell and instead left it for asswipe children. IJS

Co worker swears by Minsky's Pizza hot wings but I have no experience myself. When I go to a pizza place I tend to get pizza. I occasionally stray to a calzone or a sammie for lunch when Funhouse was on 350 near Raytown.
