This guy should fit well in the middle of the Eagles' 4-3. They have shit at MLB, and will likely sign a guy like Tulloch, but since this mock doesn't take FA signings into consideration, MLB is a huge need. This guy was thought to be a first round prospect and is in a free fall, but the 3rd round is a good time to take a risk on his upside.

The Eagles select Vontaze Burfict, ILB, Arizona State.

San Diego needs help in their secondary, at linebacker and on the defensive line. They have a few young guys who could be good, but will add some depth at end with the release of Castillo. This is the highest rated player on my board and so instead of reaching on a rush backer or corner, we'll draft the DT.

I don't see the value here for the other positions. I like Hudson at guard and Blake at center. Yeah, Blake will be 26 this season but offensive linemen play well into their 30's so I'm not worried about it. That shores up our offensive line for the next 5 to 6 years. Albert/Hudson/Blake/Asamoah/Osmele.
