Part of what worries me about the line play is how the new OL coach has the guards call the protection schemes rather than the center. Boehm is the best, most consistently experienced player on the line. He's also a coach's son. Although I can understand why you don't want a guy with his "head down" a good portion of the time calling the protections (according to AJ), I still don't trust our guards not to **** it up, and I wonder if part of the issues with blocking yesterday stemmed from that.

The line is Missouri -4. I was horrified by their performance on Saturday, and I know that Toledo is senior laden, but I felt compelled to lay a few quid on the Tigers.

I watched the SDSU game again yesterday. We were much better than people seemed to think. The initial TD we gave up was a fluke, and their first half FG was the result of a terrible running into the punter call. We had a nice lead, got complacent, and squashed them as soon as the game got close again. All in all, it was much better than our Murray State game last year.
