Well, again - I've covered this with TEX before. I stopped the threads over a year ago, well before the wheels blew off. And, honestly I've never just shit all the franchise... definitely took jabs and made fun of things. There are 4-5 of you that get their knickers in a twist with anything I type. And that's all good.

Your guess is as good as mine. Denver had a good O draft this year for skill players, Jewell is spot playing at LB while playing most of the ST snaps. Chubb hasn't impressed me all that much, but it's kinda tough for a rookie to go against NFL LT's all of the time, plus try to figure out when he's supposed to drop into coverage.

We'll see how it goes the remainder of the season.

Lack of a true owner is a problem. The "Bowlen Trust" headed by Joe Ellis, President & CEO, IMO let Elway bully them into giving him a five year contract as the highest paid GM in the NFL.

Elway's title is President of Football Operations/General Manager. Bowlen as owner would not have given Elway a 5 yr contract, no way. Three years max.
