No. Last I checked anyway and since it won't be cat 4 or 5 when it gets to me. I am out of a flood zone. There's a shelter at a middle school a few blocks on even higher ground if it get's iffy. I am packing stuff for that option.

That estate sale across the street is still going on.

Only one house around me putting up boards. I am being tunneled in as I type. It's dark...and I missed the boat of the right size batteries.

Well that sounds good, I would still avoid the tree that has the potential to shed large branches.

we are under a mandatory evacuation order too. As of right now, we are not leaving. No one on our street is leaving as far as we know. We're actually having a hurricane watch party tonight.

its a little different down here. We get summer storms 3-4 times a week that can have 50 mph winds. Now they last 30 minutes or so but we are used to it.

In our area they are talking 60 mph winds. No real storm surges. If I Have to evacuate to some high school Gym, I'm there for days. I'm prepared to be without power for at least a week at home. We also have dogs. We have neighbors to share stuff with. No elderly. No medical issues. No kids. Full tanks of gas in all cars. Plenty of food and water. Backup power for phones. We don't need rescuing.
